DIY Flower Buckets FAQ’s

  • Pickup is available Wednesday through Saturday, 2pm-6pm at Wyld Heart Flower Farm. We’re closed Sundays and Mondays to tend to the flowers!

  • Currently, we only offer pickup only. This keeps costs down and ensures your flowers stay as fresh as possible.

  • A 5-gallon bucket works perfectly 50-60 stems. If you order a large quantity, please be sure to bring 3-5 buckets. Make sure they are clean and can hold water!

You can bring your own container, or we can provide a sturdy bucket for $5/each.

  • Please give us at least 1-2 weeks ahead of your pickup date!

  • Give us a call! While we can't guarantee availability, we’ll do our best to accommodate rush orders if we have flowers ready to harvest.

  • With proper care, most flowers will last 5-7 days. We’ll include care instructions with every bucket!

  • Fresh-cut flowers sometimes look a bit droopy right after any kind of stress - this is normal! Follow the care instructions, and they'll perk up within a few hours.

  • Keep flowers in cool water and away from direct sunlight. Don't store them near ripening fruits or vegetables, as they release gas that shortens flower life. Make sure the stems are always in clean water and hydrated in vases or buckets. Remove any leaves that fall below the water line for longer vase life.

  • Absolutely! Just let us know your preferences when ordering. We can't guarantee specific varieties since it depends on what's blooming, but we’ll do our best to match your vision.

  • As much as we would love to have people come out to see the flowers before ordering, we kindly ask that visits to the farm are only made during pickup.
